G-Shock Versus Nixon

Today on Swagger Junky were going to discuss the validity of both G-Shock and Nixon. Both companies have made it extremely far in the fashion world, but Swagger Junky wants to see which watch has more swagg. Both Nixon and G-shock get worn by many celebrities and get a lot of publicity. We are going to elaborate on which watch has more features along with the differences between the two. Let’s dig in!  

G-Shock:

G-Shock watches have been around for more than four decades and with each year the designs get better and better. What makes G-Shock the hotness? Well not only does the company release dopesick color ways but the watch also includes some dopesick features such as, solar power and automatic time keeping. The solar powered watches work by converting illumination and florescent lighting into electrical power. This feature makes G-Shock one of the greenest watches on the market because it doesn’t need an abundance of batteries, because the battery is always recharging. The watch also includes sensors, which measure the directions, altitude and atmospheric pressure/temperature.  Not only does the watch have a built in sensor in it but it also has the capability of automatic time keeping. The watch literally changes the time on the spot depending on where you are.How does it do this? Well the watch receives time calibration signals and corrects the time automatically; this is all possible because of Wave Ceptor technology. G-Shock is loaded with lots of styles and features that puts there watch on the top of the advanced technology level.  Not all watches have these amazing features but the ones that don’t still are fresh to death. Nixon:

Nixon watches have been really popular in the 08-09 era. With their classy designs and color ways Nixon has made a deep impact on the fashion community and also the action sport community. What keeps Nixon watches alive? Well unlike G-Shock, Nixon doesn’t have any advanced technology features, but they do have the right to say that they are classy but yet still have a say in the urban community. Because of the non- advanced technology watches Nixon watches can be found lower in price than to G-Shock. This makes everyone accessible to a Nixon watch. Not saying that the price range can’t reach the 300 to 400 dollar range but you can spend less on a watch that’s classy, affordable and in style. Nixon provides digital watches, analog watches, and duel time watches. This gives you a variety of choices to match your style. The watch also comes with a two year warranty which will replace your watch if it stops working, but this does apply to abuse.
